Our Winning Design Process

Our design process helps keep you in the drivers seat from the beginning of the website creation project to completion. Creating a website is like painting a picture. The problem is that what you envision will be hard to explain to us in words. And how do you convey this to us so we can help? Creating a website is a creative process and we keep you involved in this process at each stage of development.Our website design process was created to give our website design service customers 100% satisfaction with the website that they receive. It also helps customers save money as with each stage of development the customer is given options to alter the graphic portions of the design before proceeding to the next stage of development.

We guarantee that you will be happy with the website you receive once completed and launched online. And even then we give you 30 days past completion to request minor alterations and changes.

STAGE 1	We require 50% of the project price at startup. We speak with you and learn your objectives for the web project. This can be with a conference call so everyone involved can take part. We get an idea about your type of business and your marketing efforts. We ask you to send us some web site addresses of web sites you like. We do NOT copy the designs from these sites but we use this to get a "feel" for the type of web site you are looking for; whether it be corporate looking or fun or somewhere in between.

STAGE 2	We start the design by creating a graphic file of the web site. No text is used here. It is simply the web site graphics shell (the overall look of the web site). This is the part of web design that takes the longest and is the bulk of the project. This is the reason we require a deposit of the estimate before designing begins. At this point we either make changes at the customer's request or we finalize the design and move to Stage 3.

STAGE 3	We convert the graphic files into a HTML web page format, start creating the web pages and setup the website navigation links. Once stage 4 is completed MIDITECH will invoice the customer for 25% of the design cost. This must be paid before we continue to Stage5.

STAGE 4	It is at this stage that we require The Customer provide us with the text content for each web page. We then place the text content on the web pages and optimize the pages for search engines. We communicate with the customer regarding their intended target markets online and complete the search engine optimization. We make any required final changes. Once the website is completed we invoice for another 25% of the website design project cost and the project is deemed completed. 30 Day Grace Period: Once this website design project is completed and all fees paid the customer will be given a 30 day period of time within which the customer can request minor modifications to the site without extra charge. Minor modifications do NOT include graphic design, color changes of graphic design elements, or web page layout. Any requests for modification not deemed to be minor will be at additional charge billed at our hourly rate of $75.00 Canadian Currency. Client agrees that MIDITECH, at our sole discretion, will decide what constitutes a minor modification.

Previously Approved Stage Changes	The customer agrees that if past any above stage of development, that you PREVIOUSLY APPROVED, you wish to go back and make changes which cause an unexpected increase in hours earned for the design work, such work will be deemed an additional extra charge based on our hourly rate of $75/hour. MIDITECH will inform The customer of the extra charges, if such modifications are requested by you, before starting such modifications.
